Coach Josh Craft has been the Head Coach for the CCS wrestling team for over a decade. Since Craft's arrival to CCS, the program had its first state qualifier in 2012 and has produced multiple qualifiers every year since. In 2015 the program had its first state placer and has had multiple state placers every year since. In 2018 the team won the TSSAA DII Dual Invitational Championship, and in 2019 the team qualified for the DII TSSAA State Dual Championships.
Craft was a State Champion, two-time finalist, and three-time place finisher in the TSSAA State Wrestling Tournament during his career at East Ridge High School. He then went on to wrestle for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga under both Terry Brands and Mark Leen.
Coach Craft teaches Strength & Conditioning as well as Wellness.
Josh and his wife, Stephanie, have two daughters, Savannah and Leighton. They live in Ringgold, GA and attend Calvary Chapel Chattanooga.
