Supportive Camps Overview
We offer Supportive Camps for children with disabilities, providing a safe and inclusive environment for children in grades K-12 who may need additional support. These children may require extra staff supervision, assistance with restroom needs, or help managing behavior—support that exceeds the staff-to-student ratio available in our regular Day Camp. The structure of Supportive Camps mirror that of our Day Camp, allowing participants to enjoy the same activities alongside their peers, with additional supports tailored to their needs.
Our Day Camp is packed with physical, scientific, and creative activities every day! Your camper can expect themed activities, crafts, and fun dress-up days.
Day Camp runs for eight weeks, from June 2 to August 1. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day options for each week. Lunch is included in the cost, and registration is based on the grade your child will enter this fall. See below for more information.
If you're interested in enrolling your child in our Supportive Camps, please contact Summer Camp Director Carie Roncin at croncin@ccsk12.com. Parents must reach out to discuss necessary accommodations with the camp director prior to registration.

Our Staff
Our staff is trained in caring for students who have needs that go beyond a typical developmental norm for their age. Within The Learning Center facilities, there are places for sensory breaks, large bathrooms if assistance is needed, and a place to go when students need a pause from Day Camp and Specialty Camps.

Day Camp with Inclusion
A fully inclusive day camp setting where campers of all abilities come together to participate in fun and engaging activities. This camp provides extra support and staff for those who need it, ensuring every child has the opportunity to connect, learn, and thrive in a welcoming environment.
Ages: PreK-12th

Day Camp with Hybrid Inclusion
A hybrid day camp offering a blend of inclusive activities and a calming environment for campers who need extra support with extra staff. Campers participate in group activities with peers at their ability level, with access to a quiet, sensory-friendly space when a break or additional comfort is needed, ensuring a balanced and supportive experience for all.

Day Camp with Full Assistance
Day Camp offering one-to-one assistants for campers who need extra support. Each camper is paired with a dedicated assistant, ensuring personalized guidance and enabling participation in activities tailored to their abilities, while fostering connection and growth in a fun, inclusive setting. Campers must be registered before May 15, 2025 to ensure proper staffing.

Day Camp with The Learning Center
Located in the The Learning Center, this is a day camp where students participate in camp activities alongside peers at similar ability levels. This inclusive approach provides tailored support, fostering engagement, connection, and growth in a welcoming environment.
Ages: 4th-12th

Young Adult Job Skills Training
This program offers our young adult population the opportunity to come to camp and learn basic job skills. Campers will work with our leaders to learn skills such as mail delivery, food service assistance, and retail. This camp is a blend of working on basic job skills and having fun at camp.
Ages: 16 years and older
