  • COMPETE

The Chattanooga Christian School Athletics Program is a valuable component of our total educational program. There is long-term value in the life skills learned through competition. Since 2020, CCS has participated in dozens of postseason tournaments with over 20 elite 8 or higher finishes. Our coaches value their role as mentor, implement our #BOLTUP culture across our programs, and create an environment that allows student athletes to develop to their full potential. All of our coaches have played or coached at the collegiate level. Collectively, we represent more than 200 years of coaching experience.

NCAA Eligibility Information

Over the years, CCS has seen numerous student-athletes compete at the college level. This page exists to provide helpful links and information related to the recruiting process for the student-athlete and his or her parent or guardian. Student-athletes and parents interested in competing in college should notify their coach and Academic and College Counselor of their interests.

Recruiting Timeline

  • The student-athlete must take ownership of the process. Coaches, college counselors, and athletic leadership are available to help.
  • Academics and behavior play a key role starting in 9th grade.
  • 9th graders should communicate with Academic and College Counselors to make sure they are in the right classes based on their college athletic goal. Connecting early is key!
  • By 10th grade, student-athletes should be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center (link is provided above).
  • Be sure to spend time researching colleges in which you are interested.
  • Take full advantage of the CCS Strength and Conditioning program. Speed and strength, in combination with your sport specific skills, are instrumental in the recruiting process.
  • Keep your Hudl video up-to-date. Each sport at CCS has a hudl account to which athletes have access. Hudl is an important resource.
  • Attend camps and college showcases, and take advantage of other opportunities that help you get seen!
  • 11th graders need to stay in contact with their college counselor.
  • Take the ACT or SAT and send your score to the NCAA.
  • At the end of the year, request your college counselor to upload your official transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
