Our Strength and Conditioning department is dedicated to enhancing athletic performance, minimizing injuries, and promoting lifelong fitness and movement skills. Our coaches collaborate closely with the athletic training staff to rehabilitate and strengthen injured athletes. They design scientifically-backed training plans, oversee training sessions, assess athlete progress, and lead strength and conditioning classes to support athletes at every stage of their development.

  • Training

Three full-time Athletic Trainers (ATs) are available at CCS for the athletic community. At CCS, ATs are nationally-certified (ATC) and licensed healthcare providers in Tennessee who provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

ATs provide immediate care and evaluation of injuries, treatment, and rehabilitation working with athletes, parents, coaches, and other healthcare providers to keep our athletes safe on the field or court.

ATs refer to other healthcare professionals when appropriate, especially when formal rehabilitation in addition to what is provided at school may be required.

The Athletic Training Office is located in the Power House facility.
