Coach Henry Woodard serves as our Offensive Coordinator. He is a native of Chattanooga, where Woodard won a 2003 state championship as a player under Reynolds at Boyd-Buchanan. After ending his football career, Woodard went on to compete in the 2008 Olympic Team Trials in the sport of weightlifting. During this time, he was a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Co. Woodard earned a master’s degree in Physical Education from Faulkner University while serving as an assistant football coach for the NAIA program from 2013-2015.
In 2016 Woodard worked as an assistant under Reynolds at Madison Academy where, together, they made an appearance in the 4A state championship game. In 2017 Woodard served as the offensive coordinator at Northeast High School in Clarksville, TN helping the eagles offense average more than 33 ppg. From 2018-2019 Woodard assisted at 6A Alabama powerhouse Clay-Chalkville in Birmingham, AL making 2 semi final appearances. After a short stint in 2020 at Stewarts Creek High School Woodard rejoined Reynolds at East Hamilton, where he served as an assistant football coach and head strength coach before accepting the offensive coordinator position at CCS.
Henry and his wife, Brittany, have one son and one daughter, Trip and Braylen. The Woodard family attends church at Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixson.
