Investing in Your Child's Future

At Chattanooga Christian School, we understand that financing a private Christian education can be a challenge for many families. It is the policy of Chattanooga Christian School to provide need-based financial aid to families who demonstrate a genuine need and would not otherwise be able to afford a CCS education. We do not offer academic or athletic scholarships.

We are committed to making Christian education accessible by dedicating a significant portion of our budget to financial aid. As CCS has grown, so has our financial commitment. For the 2024-2025 school year, we will award $2.4 million in need-based aid—four times the amount we awarded just eight years ago.

Below, you will find the steps to complete your application for tuition assistance, along with important deadlines and resources to guide you through the process. You will also find information for Tennessee residents regarding state-funded programs that provide financial assistance for eligible students attending private schools in Tennessee.

Financial Aid Process

The financial aid application is open from October 1 through January 31 of each year for new families (the deadline for current CCS families is December 31). Families must apply each year and complete the process—including submission of required tax documents—by the deadline in order to be considered in the first round of awards. CCS cannot guarantee financial aid for a family that completes the financial aid process after the deadline.

For new families, after submitting your online application for admission to CCS, please read the Financial Aid Application Instructions. Financial aid will not be considered for a student unless an application for admission has been submitted to CCS.

Families who demonstrate financial need will receive their financial aid award information along with their offer of acceptance packet, mailed on March 1.

It is important for families to meet the Financial Aid application deadlines. Applications submitted after January 31 (December 31 for current families) may not be considered in the initial round of funding. This can result in a reduced funding pool, which may impact the availability of assistance for families who qualify.
