Tennis has been a lifelong passion for Zachary Mngo since he first picked up a racket at the age of six. His journey in the sport has taken him through years of competitive play, coaching, and mentorship, shaping him into both an accomplished athlete and a dedicated coach.

Zachary has had the privilege of training alongside collegiate athletes at Bethel University (Indiana) and Alabama University, experiences that deepened his technical expertise and enhanced his ability to develop players at all levels. As a tennis professional at the South Bend Racquet Club, he worked with athletes of all ages, helping them refine their technique and strategic approach to the game.
Before joining Chattanooga Christian School, Zachary served as an assistant coach for high school programs such as Berrien Springs High School (MI) and the Alabama School of Cyber Technology. His coaching background also includes instructing players at Oakwood University and working as a physical education assistant and camp instructor, helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Now, as the Associate Head Pro and Varsity Tennis Coach at Chattanooga Christian School, Zachary is committed to building a program that fosters growth, discipline, and a deep love for the sport. His goal is to develop student-athletes not only in their technical skills but also in their character, sportsmanship, and competitive mindset.

Faith has always been central to Zachary’s journey, shaping his values and approach to coaching. Since moving to the U.S. at the age of five, he has been actively involved in his faith community. His faith continues to guide him in all aspects of life, instilling a commitment to integrity, service, and mentorship.

Zachary looks forward to bringing his experience, passion, and leadership to CCS, helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.
