Admissions Application
Although the priority application deadline is January 31, we will continue to take applications after this date as long as there is space available. The application for the following school year opens September 1.
Prospective families are encouraged to start the admissions process at anytime by filling out an online application. Decisions will be mailed on March 1.
As a distinctly Christian school for children of Christian families, we require that at least one parent or guardian profess faith in Jesus Christ and regularly attends a local Christian church. See below for additional requirements. we require: we require:
The Chattanooga Christian School admissions process begins when a parent or guardian fills out the online application, which must be completed electronically. A separate application is required for each student applying.
You can complete the application in our prospective parent portal. A one-time, nonrefundable application fee of $100 is required.
1. Pastor Recommendation: As a covenantal Christian school, CCS partners with families who share our faith foundation. At least one parent must be a professing Christian who is actively involved in a local church.
As part of the application process, a Pastor Recommendation form is required. This form will be automatically sent to the pastor you list on your checklist, based on the church your family regularly attends.
2.Teacher Recommendation: A teacher's recommendation is required for all PreSchool-12th grade applicants. This should come from your student's academic teacher from the current school year. The Teacher Recommendation form will be available in your parent portal.
Parents are required to attend a virtual Core Distinctives Seminar, held via Google Meet, with Head of School Matt Covey. During this online meeting, he will review the Core Distinctives of Chattanooga Christian School. Once your Pastor's Recommendation has been received, you will be able to schedule your seminar through your Parent Portal.
All 6th-12th grade applicants will complete an academic assessment to help determine appropriate placement in either honors or regular classes. This is not an entrance exam. You can sign up for an assessment time in the Parent Portal.

We do not sell this information or share it with anyone else unless authorized by you or required by law. Only those CCS employees and consultants who need it to perform their job responsibilities are authorized to have access to your information that you provide.
By continuing with the online application process and signing the application electronically, you represent to CCS that the information is furnished by you and is accurate and authorize CCS and its employees and consultants to use the information and rely on the information to process your application.
